The Myatt Family
(Joey & Melissa)

base director / member care

We are from Jacksonville, Florida and we love the beach, camping and taking family trips.

For many years we served as Youth Directors back at our home church in America. In 2014, we did our Crossroads DTS with our whole family at YWAM Lebanon Pennsylvania. Following that, we lived in Guyana South America serving with YWAM. Our passion here is to serve in the local church and see unity in the body of Christ and see young people come to an understanding of who they are in Christ.

Cindy

Leadership team / Member care

Originally, I came from Colorado where I loved the mountains and the wildlife.

I started my missions career in 1989 and joined YWAM in 2000. I have served long term in the US, India, Sudan, and Kenya before coming to Romania in 2021. I have worked with low income and high risk youth, church planting, community development and now with Member Care. I really enjoy helping missionaries deal with the struggles they face and to point them to His hope even in the midst of ongoing trauma. I enjoy reading, playing games and being in nature for refreshment.

The Bailey Family
(Tim & Caroline)

Leadership team / Member care

We are originally from the United States and we have 4 beautiful children. We have been a part of YWAM working in full-time, cross cultural ministry since 2008 and been living in Romania since 2012. We love nature and a good adventure!

We are currently leading the YWAM Central European Member Care Team and are a part of Romania Without Orphans. We are member care providers, support for foster and adoptive families, life and ministry coaches, trauma trainers and debriefers. We love to see people succeed in the calling that God has placed on their life!

The Leach Family
(Jim & Becky)

Leadership team / Member Care

We are originally from Canada/U.S. and we have 4 lovely children.
We have been pastors in America for 15 years and missionaries in Romania for almost 7 years. We love releasing the joy and encouragement of the Lord through worship.

We are part of the YWAM Family Ministries Team in Romania and also serve on Member Care teams throughout Europe. We feel a specific calling to place the lonely in families and strengthen families, based on Psalm 68:6:  "God places the lonely in families: He sets the prisoners free and gives them joy...."

Alissa Wood

General staff

I'm originally from the United States and have been serving in full-time missions since 2018 in Canada, Switzerland, and Romania.

Since 2018, I've been actively engaged in pioneering ministries and building meaningful connections within local communities. My heart beats for living the life of Jesus and embodying His teachings and values in everyday life through "around the table" ministries: creating spaces for Sabbath meals, hosting creative workshops, and engaging in coffee chats that cultivate deep conversations and connections.

The Sieber Family
(Matt & Becca)

general staff

We are from Central Pennsylvania, in the North Eastern part of the United States.

Matt has been serving with YWAM in Romania since February 2021, and Becca since September 2019. We are passionate about orphan ministry and adoption; Matt has a pastoral call on his life and is pursuing a degree in Biblical studies.

We just brought our daughter home in foster care, and hope to grow our family through adoption in the coming years. We are thankful for development in Romania, and pray for more change in the orphan crisis worldwide and specifically Romania.

Kyle Miles

general staff

I’m from Pennsylvania, USA. I found my calling for missions after my DTS experience. During a vision trip to Romania in 2022, I felt God leading me to Romania.

I'm passionate about worship, youth ministry, counseling, and making friends through sharing the love of Christ.

In ministry, I focus on counseling, member care, and leading worship within our mission community. Outside of ministry, I enjoy outdoor activities, games, and music.

Andrea

pastor in training

I’m originally from the States. I was called to be a missionary in 2011 during my DTS, but God told me to wait. I spent 8 years waiting with 4 of them teaching elementary school in Tennessee.  When God finally gave me the go, I moved to Hungary where I did ministry for three years before coming to live in Romania.

Some of my passions include teaching, listening to God’s voice, reading, journaling, playing board games, hiking mountains, and watching sunsets.  I never thought I would live in Europe, but this place has stolen my heart!
